Green Eggs & Ham Rally (2012)

Our Green Eggs & Ham Rally was such a great time!.  Everybody had a lot of fun.  Connie Miller did an outstanding job with coordinating this event.  You should see pictures of the special Green Eggs & Ham cake that was made for our event and given away during the cake walk.  Congratulations to Dana Voight for winning the Grand Prize (Tires).  And we ended with our debriefing at the Tilted Kilt.

Florida District Rally “Pirates Parle”

What a great "Pirate Parley" we had at the FL District Rally. It was a lot of fun. We want to thank all those who came out to participate and to those that volunteered to work at the rally. We had several people volunteer for security and at the registration desk, and Connie taught CPR & First Aid.  You were all very much appreciated. We also want to thank FL1-H2 Orlando, for coming to our chapter dinner at Logan’s Roadhouse on Friday evening and for inviting us to your luncheon on Saturday afternoon. It’s always great to see everyone having a good time. 

The Florida District had a good turnout of Vendors.  They provided a delicious dinner for everyone on Thursday night.  Ted won a set of tires at closing ceremonies (way to go Ted).

 

Green Eggs & Ham 2011

What a GREAT time we had at our annual Green Eggs & Ham.  Our attendance may have been a little less than last year but we had just as much FUN.  Here are some of the pics:

Florida District Rally

We had such a great time at the Florida District Rally in Kissimmee.  FL1-W won Second Place for their banner.  Patti won First Place for the Black & White Newsletter.

 

Kevin received a Certificate of Appreciation from Melissa Eason for his suggestion for the Passport Program.

Before the closing ceremonies, we had met at Logan’s Roadhouse for dinner.

FUN and LAUGHTER is always the case when we get together.

Florida District Rally (March 17-19, 2011)

Several us attended the Florida District Rally in Kissimmee. 

Paul & Diane represented FL1-W as our 2011 Couple of the Year. 

We all volunteered at the Registration Desk.

FL1-S Mingle Jingle

Kevin took an impromptu ride down to Zephyrhills, FL1-S’ Mingle Jingle.  It was a cool cloudy ride down but a beautiful ride back.  Kevin met up with Millie, Gary & Kay, Dale & Helen, and Nolan & Ruth from FL1H-2.  We all had a great time.  It is amazing the decorations one could put on a bike.

FL1-H2’s Howl-O-Ween Harvest Picnic

On Oct 30th, we visited FL1-H2’s Howl-O-Ween Harvest Picnic at Fort Christmas.  We had a great time, and they had a great turnout.  The weather was perfect. 

To our surprise, H2’s mascot, Orlando, decided to jump ship and join FL1-W.  He thinks we are a lot more fun and we let him go WILD!

It didn’t take long for Orlando to find himself a girlfriend (Miss Apopka) and start making his moves.

       

Miss Apopka was really impressed with Orlando’s marshmallow cooking skills.

 

FL1-Y’s Rally & Poker Run, Gainesville

It was a great weekend.  Saturday there were only four of us to go to Gainesville for their Poker Run, but the room was packed!  There was a good attendance for FL1-Y’s event.  Thank you Mark and Luchy for joining us to support this chapter.

Florida District Rally

We had a great time at the Florida District Rally.  It rained Thursday and Friday, so the Vendors didn’t get much business.  But, the sun came out on Saturday and turned out to be a beautiful day.  I’m sure the Vendors were grateful for that.  We won several awards, including First Place for our scrapbook and First Place for our Newsletter.
